Welcome to Smoky-Mountain-Pictures.com

To me photography is about connecting with nature and sharing all that it has to offer through the images that it allows me to create.  Like so many other people I have always been drawn  to the Smoky Mountains.  Even as a child I was moved by it's natural beauty,  unique landscape and incredible biodiversity.  Now that I have made these mountains my home,  I have come to understand and appreciate them more and more,  and they continue to inspire me season after season - year after year.

It is my hope that the images I share with you on this website will encourage you to take the time to visit new places and gain a better understanding of nature.  That you will begin to make a connection and look a little closer at the natural world around you.  Maybe you will be inspired  to create your own photographs to share with and inspirit others. 

I hope that the understanding and connection you make with nature will lead to an awareness of your responsibility to protect our environment.  And that you along with the others you have inspired will take part in the conservation of our planets natural habitats.
